A Shadow Circle is a weekly local gathering where Shadow Warriors spar and drill together. Hosts are volunteers who hold the floor and keep the Code. The curriculum and the rank record stay with LSTA. If your city has no Circle yet, this is how one starts.

What a Host does

  • Holds a weekly floor and keeps the Code on it.
  • Pairs sparring by sash level. The Host’s call is final on the floor.
  • Welcomes every active Shadow Warrior at their recorded rank.
  • Runs the Circle’s room on Club Sabernet.

The Circle standards

  • A Circle is sparring and practice only.
  • No paid instruction. Grading is LSTA form review.
  • No fees beyond the Shadow Warrior membership.
  • No academy claims. The Host holds the floor; LSTA holds the relationship.
  • A Circle charters where no licensed academy already operates. Where an academy exists, it hosts the floor.
  • An existing Circle is never dissolved when an academy opens, and nobody is ever moved into an academy.

Who can host

  • An active Shadow Warrior in good standing.
  • Form 3 certification and 90 or more days active, once Form 3 opens. Until then, LSTA Corporate approves Hosts directly.
