If Your School
Licenses The Operator Role Itself.
There are two ways to bring this to your school. Either someone in your district licenses the operator role itself through one of the two tiers below, or you partner with an already-licensed operator in your area through the sponsor-funded model (Path B, next section). Local operator availability and sponsor underwriting determine which path is open. The two tiers below are for districts choosing to license the operator role directly. For most school environments, the entry-tier Curriculum Commander is the right starting point.
LSMA Curriculum Commander
Entry-tier Commander License authorizes structured LSMA curriculum delivery with sash-progression character framework. The model that ran Virginia Beach 2015 and runs Norfolk now. Curriculum-only. Character development through structured discipline, no league complexity.

Sponsor-Funded Economics.
If a licensed LSTA operator already serves your region, this is the lower-friction path. Your school partners with the existing operator. The operator carries the cost, the equipment, the instructor liability, and the program risk. Local business sponsors cover student participation fees so families don't pay either. Your school carries the gym time and the relationship with your community. Subject to local operator availability and sponsor underwriting. If neither is currently in place for your area, Path A above is the alternative.

In 2015, Edward Armstrong built a nationally recognized light sword academy in the United States in Norfolk. In 2016, the franchise that gave the sport its international structure betrayed the warriors and operators inside it. In 2017, Edward and Julliana Armstrong (with founding masters Nathan Young and Nick Benseman), rebuilt LSTA from scratch as a federation, engineered against every failure mode they'd survived.
