Guests Come Once.
Then What?

Most entertainment venues share the same structural problem: high cost-per-acquisition, low repeat visit rate, and programming that loses novelty after the first visit. Saber Tag X-Treme League is a weekly competitive format built around national rankings. Which means guests have a reason to come back not just once, but every Saturday of the season.

01

Programming Fatigue

Laser tag, bowling, trampolining, your guests have done it. The first visit is experiential. The second is routine. Saber Tag X-Treme League is competition, not just an activity. Electronic scoring, ranked brackets, and a national leaderboard give guests something to improve, track, and return for.

02

Dead Midweek Nights

Tuesday and Wednesday nights are the hardest slots to fill. A weekly competitive league locks participants into a recurring schedule. League nights become a calendar commitment, not an impulse visit. One Saturday league cohort of 25 participants is 25 guaranteed visits per week.

03

Group Booking Sameness

Teen birthday parties and corporate events are your highest-margin bookings, but bowling and arcade packages have become commodity products. Saber Tag X-Treme League is a fully produced group event format with electronic scoring and bracket competition built in. It's a differentiated product in a saturated market.

04

No Anchor Attraction

The best entertainment venues have one thing most don't: an anchor attraction that gets people talking and coming back. Electronic-scored light sword competition is inherently shareable, every match is a content opportunity. Guests don't just play; they record, post, and bring their friends back to beat their score.

Three Revenue Streams.
One Equipment Kit.

The Saber Tag X-Treme League license opens three distinct revenue opportunities inside your existing venue. Each operates independently, run one, run all three. The same Century Martial Arts 2020 Armor equipment kit powers all three formats.

Stream 01, High Volume

Walk-In Sessions

$15–$25
Per Person · Per Session

Open-floor sessions run like any other attraction. Walk-in guests pay per session, equipment is already set up, and electronic scoring handles all bracket management automatically. A 20-person session at $20/head generates $400 in under two hours. No instructor required, one trained operator runs the floor.

Stream 02, High Margin

Private Group Bookings

$350–$1,200
Per Booking · 2 Hours

Teen birthday parties (13+), corporate team-building, bachelor and bachelorette parties, adult milestone events, and special group bookings. Private bookings close the floor for a 2-hour exclusive session. Electronic scoring and bracket competition are included. Guests get a fully produced competitive experience that no bowling lane or arcade can replicate at any price.

Stream 03, Recurring

Saturday League

$247
Per Participant · Per Season

Weekly competitive league with national rankings updated same day. Participants pay $247 per season. A committed, recurring revenue cohort that shows up every Saturday regardless of what else is happening. League participants also spend on food & beverage, merchandise, and spectator admissions during their weekly visit. The league is your anchor traffic.

Three Formats.
One Footprint.

The entire Saber Tag X-Treme League setup fits in 1,500–3,000 square feet of open floor space. Setup time: under 20 minutes. No permanent installation, no fixtures, no facility modification. The equipment loads in and out without disrupting any other attraction in your venue.

Format 01

Walk-In Session

45–90 minutes. Open to any walk-in guest ages 13 and up. Electronic scoring manages all brackets automatically, no manual operation required. All participants eligible for sanctioned national-ranked bracket play from their first session. Run multiple sessions per day, any day of the week. No advance booking required from guests.

Format 02

Private Group Event

2-hour exclusive floor booking. Available for teen birthday parties (13+), corporate groups, adult milestone events, and special group bookings. Electronic scoring provides a fully produced tournament experience within the event. LSTA provides all promotional materials, waivers, and event run-of-show documentation. No scripting or facilitation skill required from your staff.

Format 03

Saturday League Night

Weekly 2-hour competitive sessions. Full bracket competition with national rankings updated same day. Every participant builds a permanent athlete profile on Saber Circuit. Season length: your choice, 6–24 weeks. League participants have documented competitive records that make them eligible for the LSMAF Eastern Regionals, Connecticut (June 30, 2027).

Your Venue Plugs Into A Complete System.

Most competitive-entertainment concepts run on a single vendor system: equipment, scoring, instruction, and operating documentation come from the same provider, and when that provider stumbles, the venue does. Saber Tag X-treme delivers four independent operating layers under one license, the Warrior Intelligence System Edge. Built so the league does not depend on any single vendor staying in business.

"Booked this for our corporate team day, 40 people. Everyone from the CFO to the interns was completely locked in for two hours. Best team-building format we've run in five years."

"My daughter's 16th birthday: eight friends, two hours on the floor, electronic scoring the whole time. They didn't stop talking about it for a month and half of them came back as league regulars. This is the teen birthday nobody else is doing."

"We've done laser tag, escape rooms, mini golf. This was the first time every single person in the group was equally engaged the entire time. The scoring system makes it feel like a real sport."

"I came as a walk-in visitor expecting a gimmick. Left as a league participant. The electronic scoring and the fact that there are national rankings changes how you show up to every session."

Frequently Asked
Questions

How much floor space does Saber Tag X-Treme League require?
The equipment operates comfortably in 1,500–3,000 square feet of open floor space. The vests and light swords require room for movement, not a fixed arena. Most venues configure a temporary boundary using portable stanchions or simply use an existing defined floor area. Setup time from carry cases to first session: under 20 minutes. No permanent installation, no floor anchoring, no facility permits required.
Does my staff need martial arts training to operate the league?
No martial arts background required. Operator certification covers equipment setup, electronic scoring software, bracket management, safety protocols, and session flow. Three remote sessions. Most venues certify one dedicated staff member and run all sessions independently. Saber Circuit handles all bracket logic, scoring, and national ranking updates automatically. Your operator facilitates the room, the software runs the competition.
Can we run walk-in sessions on the same day as a private booking?
Yes. Walk-in sessions and private bookings use the same equipment. The venue controls the schedule entirely. A typical Saturday might run a 10am walk-in session, an exclusive 2pm teen birthday or corporate booking, and a 7pm league night, all from the same kit. Saber Circuit creates separate sessions and manages brackets independently for each slot. Your venue sets the schedule; the equipment and Saber Circuit accommodate it.
What age groups are eligible?
Ages 13 and up for all venue experiences: walk-in sessions, private bookings, and league play. All participants are eligible for sanctioned bracket competition with national rankings and permanent athlete profiles on Saber Circuit from their first session. This makes the program viable for teen birthday parties (13+), corporate team-building, bachelor and bachelorette events, and adult group bookings alike. Participants ages 13-17 require parent or guardian consent.
How does the group booking pricing work?
Your venue sets your own private booking rates. The calculator defaults use $350–$1,200 as a range based on typical comparable entertainment venue pricing for exclusive 2-hour experiences. LSTA provides the booking package templates, waiver documentation, and event run-of-show materials. You present and price the booking to your market. The league license does not dictate your retail pricing for private events. You collect the revenue; LSTA provides the product.
What happens to the league if we have a scheduling conflict on a Saturday?
Saber Circuit is flexible on session scheduling. League sessions can be moved to any day or time. Saturday is the default because it drives the highest walk-in traffic alongside the league, but the system works for any weekly schedule. Participants are notified of changes through their athlete profiles. Session results are entered manually through the operator dashboard and rankings update immediately after each session is confirmed.
Can participants from our venue compete at the Eastern Regionals?
Yes. Every participant who competes in your venue's league is building a national competitive record from their first session. The LSMAF Eastern Regionals (Connecticut (June 30, 2027)), is the first sanctioned LSMAF competition. Participants with documented league records from your venue are eligible to compete. For your venue's reputation, having participants who qualify for a national championship is a credentialing and marketing event that costs you nothing beyond running your Saturday league.
How quickly can we be operational from signing the license?
First session achievable within 30 days of signing. Day 1: license executed, equipment order placed. Weeks 1–2: remote operator certification. Week 2: first group booking packaged, local sponsor outreach begins. Week 3: first walk-in session or private booking. Week 4–5: first Saturday league session live, national rankings activated. The entire timeline from signature to first revenue-generating session is under 35 days. No travel, no on-site LSTA support required for launch.

Built. Betrayed.
Rebuilt by four masters.

In 2015, Edward Armstrong built a light sword martial arts academy in the United States: 68 students, Entrepreneur of the Year, featured on ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox. Sijo Nathan Young, Sifu Julliana Armstrong, and Sifu Nick Benseman built the curriculum, the institutional partnerships, and the safety protocols alongside him.

In 2016, the franchise that gave the sport its international structure betrayed the warriors and operators inside it.

In 2017, all four walked away, and rebuilt from scratch, on their own terms, engineered against the exact failure modes they had survived.

That rebuild is why this partnership exists.

When you partner with LSTA, you become part of a federation built by people who refuse to let predatory operator terms or unsupported franchisees happen again. The terms you see on this page aren’t generous because we’re trying to win you. They’re what we wish we’d had.

Three reasons
this isn’t the right event line for your venue.

Adding a recurring event format to your venue lineup is a real commitment. Before you book a pilot, here are three reasons it might not fit.

Your venue can’t accommodate the safe playing footprint.

Saber Tag league setup needs 1,500–3,000 square feet of open floor space (the same range our FAQ specifies). If your venue layout can’t carve out that footprint on the event nights, the format physically won’t fit.

Your audience is primarily under-13.

Saber Tag league play is teens-and-adults (13+) by design. If your venue’s core audience is children’s birthday parties and elementary-age events, the format mismatch will frustrate everyone. LSTA doesn’t serve under-13 as a primary demographic, so this isn’t the right partner for that programming gap.

You need the event to be one-time, not recurring.

Saber Tag league economics depend on a recurring cohort that returns weekly. One-time events without follow-up dates rarely break even because the marketing cost per event stays high. If you only want a one-off corporate event or party, the closest LSTA operator can run a pop-up, the license isn’t the right product.

If any of those is your venue, we’d rather route you to a one-time pop-up than sell you a recurring license that doesn’t fit.
